The atmosphere between Brooke and Isaiah had become unbearable. Only moments earlier, emotions had already reached a breaking point, but neither of them seemed willing to walk away. Brooke stood several feet from Isaiah, her eyes filled with anger, disappointment, and pain. Isaiah looked equally frustrated, as though he could no longer control his temper.

She remained completely silent, careful not to make a sound. Every word between Brooke and Isaiah reached her ears.
Bethany’s face slowly changed from curiosity to shock. She had known Brooke and Isaiah had experienced relationship problems, but she had never realized how complicated their situation had become.
When she heard Brooke mention the hotel and the expenses she had personally paid, Bethany’s eyes widened. There were clearly details about Brooke’s relationship that nobody had told her.
Bethany covered her mouth, realizing she might have accidentally discovered a secret that Brooke had desperately tried to keep hidden.
7. The Secret Behind Isaiah’s Silence
Inside the room, Brooke continued staring at Isaiah. She wanted an explanation, but Isaiah remained unusually quiet.
Then Brooke noticed something in his expression. It wasn’t anger anymore. It looked like fear.
Outside the door, Bethany noticed the same thing. She leaned closer, desperate to hear what Isaiah would say next.
