🔥 SCENE 1 — THE CONFRONTATION

The afternoon is quiet outside Anthony’s house.

Anthony stands near the driveway, looking down at his phone. His expression is serious, as if he has already made a decision he knows will hurt someone.

Suddenly, Shayla walks toward him.

She looks angry, but beneath her anger is obvious heartbreak.

Anthony, I need to talk to you.

Anthony slowly puts his phone away.

Shayla, I don’t think there’s anything left to talk about.

Shayla stares at him in disbelief.

Nothing left to talk about?

She takes a step closer.

You keep saying that like everything between us meant nothing.

Anthony sighs.

I’m not saying it meant nothing. I’m saying things have changed.

Shayla shakes her head.

No, Anthony. You changed.

💔 SCENE 2 — SHAYLA’S HEARTBREAK

Shayla wipes away a tear before it can fall.

You’ve done nothing but hurt me. All you’ve given me is cheating, disappointment, and excuses.

Anthony looks away.

You gave Amber one point five million dollars!

Anthony looks back at her.

Shayla, that situation is complicated.

Complicated? But somehow you had no problem making that decision.

Anthony remains quiet.

And now you’re telling everybody that you want D’Nisha.

Anthony looks uncomfortable.

You proposed to her, Anthony. You’re planning a future with her. You want to marry her.

Yes. I did propose to D’Nisha.

Shayla closes her eyes for a moment. Hearing him admit it makes the situation even more painful.

Then tell me something. What have you ever done for me?

Anthony says nothing.

I stood beside you when things weren’t easy. I supported you. I gave you my time. I gave you my trust.

And I’m the mother of your children!

Anthony lowers his eyes.

But when it comes to me, you act like I’m nothing.

That’s not true.

Then what is true?

I appreciate everything you’ve done. I always will.

Appreciation isn’t enough anymore.

🥀 SCENE 3 — ANTHONY MAKES HIS DECISION

Anthony takes a step back. His voice becomes calm, but firm.

Shayla, I don’t want to keep arguing with you.

Because you’ve already chosen her?

I’ve made my decision.

Say it.

Anthony takes a deep breath.

It’s all over now. Everything between us is finished.

For a moment, Shayla doesn’t move. She simply stares at him.

Finished? After everything?

I believe it’s better for both of us to move forward.

Move forward? You get to move forward with D’Nisha, while I’m supposed to stand here and pretend none of this happened?

Anthony remains silent.

You really think you can just walk away?

😡 SCENE 4 — SHAYLA LOSES HER TEMPER

Anthony turns slightly, preparing to leave.

I’m not going to fight with you, Shayla.

You already fought with me!

Anthony stops.

You fought against our relationship every time you chose somebody else.

Her voice rises.

Every time you made me feel like I wasn’t enough!

Shayla, calm down.

Don’t tell me to calm down!

The argument becomes heated.

Shayla steps forward in anger and strikes Anthony once.

Anthony immediately steps back, shocked by what just happened.

For a moment, neither of them speaks.

You think you can just throw me away?

Shayla, why would you do that?

Because you don’t listen!

This is exactly why I said we need to separate.

🚨 SCENE 5 — THE POLICE THREAT

Shayla pulls out her phone. Anthony watches her carefully.

What are you doing?

Calling the police.

Anthony looks surprised.

Shayla, don’t do this.

I told you I’m done being ignored.

I’m going to have the police arrest you!

For what?

For everything you’ve done.

Shayla, you know this isn’t going to solve what happened between us.

Maybe not. But maybe you’ll finally understand that you can’t keep hurting people and expecting them to stay quiet.

I never wanted things to get this bad.

But you let them.

👀 SCENE 6 — D’NISHA GETS INVOLVED

A car suddenly pulls into the driveway.

Anthony looks toward the vehicle.

D’Nisha steps out. She immediately notices the tension.

Anthony?

D’Nisha, wait.

Shayla turns toward her.

So you came.

D’Nisha looks between them.

What happened?

Ask your fiancé.

D’Nisha looks at Anthony.

Anthony, what is she talking about?

We were arguing.

Arguing? He just told me that everything between us is over.

D’Nisha looks uncomfortable.

Shayla, I never wanted this to become a fight.

But you wanted Anthony.

I care about him, yes. But I never asked him to hurt you.

⚡ SCENE 7 — THE BIGGER QUESTION

Anthony steps between them.

Enough. This isn’t going to turn into another argument.

Both women look at him.

You already made your choice.

I did.

Then live with it.

She lowers her phone.

For the first time, her anger begins to turn into sadness.

But remember one thing, Anthony.

He looks at her.

You can move on from me, but you can never erase the history we have.

Anthony doesn’t respond.

And you can never erase the fact that I was there when you needed somebody.

🥺 SCENE 8 — ANTHONY’S REGRET

Anthony walks toward Shayla.

Shayla, I’m sorry.

Sorry for what?

Anthony pauses.

For hurting you.

Shayla’s eyes fill with tears.

You should have thought about that before you made all these decisions.

Anthony nods slowly.

You’re right.

Shayla looks toward D’Nisha, then back at Anthony.

I don’t know what happens after today. But I’m not going to keep begging you to choose me.

Anthony watches her walk away.

D’Nisha remains beside him.

📱 SCENE 9 — A NEW PROBLEM

Are you okay?

Anthony doesn’t answer immediately.

I don’t know.

You still care about her.

Anthony looks toward the direction Shayla walked.

She’s the mother of my children. I’ll always care about her.

D’Nisha nods.

Then you need to handle this the right way.

What do you mean?

No more secrets. No more confusing situations. If we’re really going to get married, I need honesty.

Anthony nods.

You’re right.

But before either of them can say anything else, Anthony’s phone begins ringing.

He looks at the screen.

His expression suddenly changes.

Who is it?

Anthony doesn’t answer.

The phone keeps ringing.

He finally picks up.

Hello?

His face becomes serious.

Wait… what?
