Part Two — Cameron and Isaiah Face Off
1. The Mysterious Warning
Brooke was still staring at the screen of her phone. The message from the unknown number kept replaying in her mind.
“You don’t know the whole truth.”
Cameron warned Brooke not to respond until they discovered who had sent the message. Brooke wondered if Isaiah was behind it, but Cameron believed that if it was Isaiah, he would eventually show himself.
2. Isaiah Walks Into the Café
While Brooke and Cameron were sitting inside the college café, a familiar car pulled up outside.
Isaiah stepped out and walked straight toward them.
“So it’s true,” he said.
Isaiah confronted Cameron about spending time with Brooke. Cameron refused to back down, telling Isaiah that Brooke was not someone he could control.
The tension quickly spread through the café as people began watching the confrontation.
3. The Serious Confrontation
Isaiah accused Cameron of interfering in his life. Cameron tried to avoid an argument, but Isaiah insisted that the conversation was not over.
Brooke stepped between them and demanded that they stop.
She told Isaiah that she no longer understood who she could trust, but she knew she was tired of every disagreement becoming a threat.
Isaiah finally walked away, but not before warning Brooke:
“By tomorrow, you’ll know everything.”
4. The Video That Changes Everything
After Isaiah left, Brooke demanded that Cameron tell her what he was hiding.
Cameron showed her a video he had received the previous night. It showed Isaiah arguing with someone.
The audio was unclear, but one sentence could be heard:
“If Brooke finds out, everything is over.”
Brooke immediately recognized the location in the background. It was the same place where Isaiah had met her during their last meeting.
Before they could figure out what the video meant, another message appeared on Brooke’s phone.
“Come alone tomorrow morning. If you bring Cameron, you’ll never learn the truth.”
5. Someone Else Is Watching
Across the parking lot, Isaiah was already making a mysterious phone call.
“She’s seen the video,” he said.
He then ended the call after saying, “Now we make our next move.”
Seconds later, Cameron received another message:
“Look behind you, Cam.”
Cameron slowly turned around.
At the far end of the parking lot, a stranger was standing there, silently watching them.
After several seconds, the stranger turned and disappeared into the darkness.
Brooke looked at Cameron and realized the truth.
“This isn’t just about you and Isaiah anymore.”
Cameron nodded.
Now a third person was involved in the game.
