Bethany makes a shocking decision when she discovers that Sharra’s mother has escaped from jail and is staying at Sharra’s house. She contacts the police and reports the situation. Soon, the police arrive and take Sharra’s mother into custody. But when Sharra discovers that Bethany was the person who called the police, her anger reaches a breaking point. She heads straight to Larry’s house, determined to confront Bethany.

Scene 1 — The Police Arrive

The evening is calm outside Sharra’s house. Suddenly, a police vehicle pulls up in front of the property. Two officers step out and walk toward the entrance.

Sharra’s mother looks nervous as she realizes that the police have found her.

Police Officer “Ma’am, we need you to come with us.”
Sharra’s Mom “What? Why are you here?”

The officer explains that they received information that she had escaped from custody and was staying at Sharra’s home.

Sharra’s mother is escorted outside and taken away in the police vehicle.

The police vehicle disappears down the street, leaving behind a furious and emotional Sharra.

Scene 2 — Sharra Learns the Truth

Inside her home, Sharra receives a phone call. Her expression changes as she listens to the news.

Sharra “What? My mom was arrested?”

Sharra asks how the police found her mother. Then she hears the name she never expected.

Sharra “Bethany did this?”

Her face becomes filled with anger. Without wasting another moment, Sharra grabs her things and heads straight to Larry’s house.

Sharra is no longer thinking about having a calm conversation. She wants answers — and she wants them immediately.

Scene 3 — The Confrontation

Bethany is inside Larry’s house, unaware of what is about to happen. Suddenly, the front door opens.

Bethany “Sharra? What are you doing here?”

The situation suddenly becomes physical. Sharra pushes Bethany, causing her to lose her balance and fall to the floor.

Bethany looks frightened and calls for help while Sharra remains furious.

Sharra “You should have thought about the consequences before calling the police!”
Bethany remains on the floor, shocked by how quickly the confrontation has escalated.

Scene 5 — Larry Rushes In

Larry suddenly hears the shouting from another room. He immediately rushes toward the noise.

Larry “What is going on?”

Larry sees Bethany on the floor and Sharra standing nearby. He immediately goes to Bethany.

Larry “Bethany! Are you okay?”
Bethany “Sharra came here because I called the police about her mom.”

Larry looks directly at Sharra.

Larry “Sharra, why did you come here like this?”
Sharra “She called the police on my mother!”
Larry “I understand that you’re angry, but that doesn’t give you the right to hurt Bethany.”
Sharra “You don’t understand! That’s my mom!”
Larry “I understand she’s your mother. But you can’t take your anger out on Bethany.”

Scene 6 — The Aftermath

Bethany slowly gets back on her feet with Larry’s help. The room becomes quiet.

Sharra’s anger begins to mix with emotion as she realizes that everything has changed.

Sharra “I just wanted my mom back.”
Bethany “I understand that you’re hurt. But I couldn’t ignore what happened.”

Larry stands between them, trying to prevent another confrontation.

Larry “This needs to stop before somebody gets seriously hurt.”

Sharra looks at Bethany one final time.

Sharra “This isn’t over.”
Larry “Sharra, leave.”

Sharra hesitates before finally turning toward the door. She walks outside, but the anger on her face shows that she has no intention of letting the situation go.

Sharra’s mother has been arrested. Bethany made the call. And now the relationship between Sharra and Bethany may never be the same again.

Bethany looks at Larry with concern.

Bethany “What is she going to do now?”
Larry “I don’t know. But whatever happens next, we need to be ready.”

Outside, Sharra walks away from Larry’s house. She looks back at the house for a moment before continuing down the street.
