1. Brooke’s Apology and Sharra’s Change of Heart

It was almost nine o’clock at night. The house was strangely quiet, but behind that silence, several storms were brewing. The lives of Brooke, Bethany, Larry, Sharra, and Isaiah had moved far beyond ordinary arguments. “I’m tired,” Sharra said quietly. “I’m tired of getting caught up in everyone’s drama. Sometimes I feel like I’ve forgotten what peace even feels like.”

“So what do you want?” Brooke asked softly.

“Maybe I need some time for myself. And if I can’t find peace, I’ll sit down with my Bible. At least I won’t find somebody’s new lie on every other page!”

Brooke couldn’t help laughing. For a moment, a small smile replaced the anger between them.

But would this peace last? Bethany had not even entered the drama yet!

2. Isaiah’s Silence, the Video, and Brooke’s Weekend

Meanwhile, Isaiah’s silence was raising questions of its own.

Larry shrugged. His careless attitude only added fuel to the fire.
