THE SILENT CHURCH
The church was silent.
Soft golden light passed through the stained-glass windows.
White flowers covered the altar as Anthony waited.
Then the doors slowly opened.

Dinisha walked into the church wearing a white wedding dress.
Anthony looked at her and forgot everything around him.
She slowly walked toward the altar.
But something in her eyes seemed strangely sad.

He had already divorced Amber and believed his past was finally over.
Now he wanted a new life with Dinisha.
The minister prepared to begin the ceremony.

Suddenly, the church doors flew open.
A man stood in the doorway, breathing heavily.
His eyes were fixed on Dinisha.

Marcus walked toward the altar.
He accused Dinisha of betraying him.
Before the argument could settle, another man appeared.
It was Darius, Dinisha’s ex-boyfriend.

Darius revealed that Dinisha had left behind more than one broken relationship.
Anthony demanded that everyone leave the church.
The tension quickly turned into anger.
Then the argument became physical.

Darius suddenly reached inside his jacket.
Dinisha immediately realized something was terribly wrong.
She begged him to stop.
But Darius pulled out a gun.

Everyone inside the church froze.
Anthony stood between Darius and Dinisha.
One terrible moment passed.
Then a gunshot shattered the silence.

Anthony collapsed beside the altar.
Dinisha dropped to her knees and tried to keep him conscious.
Paramedics rushed him to the hospital.
His condition was critical.
THE MYSTERIOUS ENVELOPE
At the hospital, Dinisha waited outside the operating room.
Then she noticed a small envelope lying on the floor.
Her name was written across it.
Her hands began to shake as she opened it.
Inside was a photograph.
On the back were four mysterious words:
“ANTHONY ISN’T WHO YOU THINK.”
