SCENE 1 — THE HOUSE — LATE AFTERNOON

The house is unusually quiet.

Amber slowly walks down the hallway, holding a small bag in her hand. She stops when she hears voices coming from one of the rooms.

She looks toward the half-open door.

Her expression changes immediately.

AMBER

“What’s going on in there?”

Amber pushes the door open.

Inside, Dave and Eleven are standing near the bed, looking through some papers and an old box. The moment they notice Amber, both turn toward her.

Amber freezes.

Her eyes widen with shock.

DAVE

“Amber… wait. It’s not what you think.”

Amber doesn’t answer.

She simply stares at them, trying to understand what she has just walked into.

ELEVEN

“We were just looking for something.”

Amber slowly steps into the room.

AMBER

“Then why didn’t either of you tell me?”

Dave looks uncomfortable.

He glances toward Eleven before looking back at Amber.

DAVE

“Because we were trying to figure something out first.”

Amber puts the bag down.

Her expression changes from shock to disappointment.

AMBER

“You both knew I would ask questions.”

DAVE

“I know.”

A long silence fills the room.

SCENE 2 — THE EXPLANATION

Dave picks up an old envelope from the bed.

DAVE

“This is what we found.”

Amber looks at the envelope.

There is a name written across the front.

Her expression becomes serious.

AMBER

“What is that?”

DAVE

“It belonged to someone from the past.”

Amber slowly takes the envelope.

She studies it carefully.

AMBER

“And you thought keeping this from me was a good idea?”

Dave shakes his head.

DAVE

“No. I was scared you would misunderstand everything.”

Amber looks directly at him.

AMBER

“And you were right.”

DAVE

“Amber, listen to me. Nothing happened.”

Eleven nods.

ELEVEN

“He’s telling the truth.”

Amber looks between them.

For a moment, she says nothing.

SCENE 3 — AMBER’S QUESTIONS

Amber walks toward the window.

She folds her arms.

AMBER

“Then explain why I walked in and both of you looked like you had been caught hiding something.”

Dave pauses.

DAVE

“Because we were hiding something.”

Amber turns around quickly.

AMBER

“Exactly!”

Eleven steps forward.

ELEVEN

“But it wasn’t what you thought.”

Amber looks at her.

AMBER

“Then what was it?”

Eleven points toward the envelope.

ELEVEN

“That.”

Amber looks down at the envelope again.

Dave takes a deep breath.

DAVE

“We found information that could change everything.”

Amber’s expression softens slightly.

AMBER

“What kind of information?”

Dave hesitates.

DAVE

“About your family.”

Amber’s eyes widen.

AMBER

“My family?”

DAVE

“Yes.”

The room becomes completely silent.

SCENE 4 — THE TRUTH

Amber carefully opens the envelope.

Inside are several old photographs and documents.

She looks at them one by one.

Her hands begin to tremble slightly.

AMBER

“I’ve never seen these before.”

DAVE

“That’s why we needed to talk to you.”

Amber looks at Dave.

Eleven quietly steps back, giving them space.

Amber places the photograph on the bed.

SCENE 5 — THE CONFRONTATION

Amber picks up her bag.

She walks toward the door, then suddenly stops.

She turns back.

AMBER

“One more thing.”

Dave looks at her.

DAVE

“What?”

Amber points toward the envelope.

AMBER

“No more secrets.”

Dave nods.

DAVE

“No more secrets.”

Eleven gives a small nod.

ELEVEN

“Agreed.”

Amber takes one final look around the room.

The shock on her face has disappeared.

Now she looks determined.

AMBER

“Then let’s find out who started this.”

Dave looks at Eleven.

Eleven looks back at him.

Neither of them says a word.

Amber walks into the hallway.

Dave grabs the envelope and follows her.

The door slowly closes behind them.
