Genesis and Terry had gone to stay at Auntie’s house, hoping that things would remain peaceful for a while. However, it did not take long before the atmosphere inside the house became tense. Their constant arguments, attitude, and the way they responded to Auntie were slowly pushing her patience to the limit.

Auntie had tried to remain calm. She listened to Genesis, gave Terry several chances to explain himself, and repeatedly asked both of them to stop arguing. But every time she thought the situation was finally calming down, another argument started.

Genesis was already emotional, and Terry was trying to defend her. Instead of helping the situation, however, his words only made Auntie more frustrated.

Finally, Auntie had enough.

Genesis stared at her in disbelief.

“Yes, seriously,” Auntie replied. “I have been patient with you both, but I am not going to sit here and let you disrespect me in my own home.”

Genesis looked toward Terry, expecting him to say something. Terry stepped forward, hoping he could calm things down.

But Auntie was no longer interested in talking.

Genesis became even more upset.

Auntie shook her head. “That is not my responsibility. You both knew the rules when you came here.”

Terry tried one more time to speak calmly.

Auntie pointed toward the front door.

The room suddenly became quiet. Genesis looked down, realizing that Auntie was completely serious. Terry sighed and finally understood that there was no point in continuing the argument.

Auntie pointed directly at Terry.

Terry slowly walked toward the door. Genesis followed behind him, still trying to process what had just happened.

As Terry reached the doorway, the tension suddenly exploded again. Auntie angrily moved toward him and kicked him as he was leaving. Terry lost his balance and fell onto the floor just outside the doorway.

Genesis immediately rushed toward him.

She bent down and tried to help him sit up. Terry looked completely stunned. He slowly turned his head and looked back toward Auntie.

For a moment, Terry simply stared at her, unable to understand how everything had escalated so quickly.

Auntie crossed her arms.

Genesis helped Terry get back onto his feet. She looked angry and embarrassed at the same time.

Auntie immediately responded:

Genesis went silent. Terry brushed himself off and looked at Genesis.

Genesis nodded.

They both stepped away from the doorway. The argument was over, but the consequences were now real. They had been told to leave, and there was no going back inside.

As they walked away from the house, Genesis looked worried.

Terry did not have an immediate answer. He looked back at Auntie’s house one last time. Auntie was still standing at the doorway, watching them leave.

For a few seconds, neither of them spoke. The situation had started with simple disagreements, but it had turned into a confrontation that neither of them expected.

Behind them, Auntie finally closed the door. Inside the house, she took a deep breath, hoping the silence would finally return.

Outside, Genesis and Terry stood together, trying to figure out their next move.
