The evening was unusually quiet. Dark clouds covered the sky while a cold breeze moved through the neighborhood. 🌆🌧️ Most of the houses were peaceful, and the streets were almost empty. But inside one particular house, someone was secretly waiting for the perfect moment.

Dave’s sister stood near the bedroom window, constantly looking outside. She checked the time again and again. Her hands were slightly shaking, and there was a nervous expression on her face.

She knew Dave could return at any moment.

After taking a deep breath, she picked up her phone and called Iman.

She quickly ended the call and looked toward the front door. For some reason, she had a feeling that this meeting could change everything.

Less than twenty minutes later, a car stopped quietly outside the house. Iman stepped out and looked around carefully before walking toward the front door.

He knocked softly.

Dave’s sister immediately opened the door and pulled him inside.

“Come in quickly,” she whispered.

She locked the door behind him before leading him into the living room. 🔒

They sat on the sofa while an uncomfortable silence filled the room. The sound of the clock ticking seemed louder than usual.

Iman looked at her carefully.

“You sounded worried on the phone. What’s really going on?”

She looked down at her hands.

“I don’t know how to explain it… but lately, everything has changed.”

They began talking about their problems, their feelings, and things they had kept hidden for a long time. What started as a simple conversation slowly became something much more serious.

As the conversation continued, Iman moved slightly closer to her. His voice became softer.

“You know you can trust me, right?”

She looked into his eyes and quietly nodded.

Iman gently took her hand. She didn’t pull away.

For a moment, neither of them said anything.

Then Iman smiled.

She became silent. Her heart was beating faster as she tried to understand what she was feeling.

Before she could give him an answer, they suddenly heard a strange sound outside.

Both of them looked toward the window.

Neither noticed the car that had just entered the driveway.

A few seconds later, the front door outside opened and closed.

It was Dave.

He had returned earlier than expected.

Dave walked toward the living room, but suddenly stopped when he heard voices coming from inside.

He frowned.

“Who is here?”

He slowly moved closer to the doorway.

Then he heard laughter.

Dave’s expression immediately changed.

He quietly reached for the door handle and opened it.

The scene in front of him made him completely freeze.

Iman was sitting beside his sister.

Their hands were still together.

For several seconds, Dave couldn’t say a single word.

His eyes moved from Iman to his sister.

Iman immediately stood up.

“Dave, listen…”

But Dave raised his hand.

“Don’t say anything.”

His voice was calm, but the anger in his eyes was impossible to hide.

Dave’s sister quickly stood up.

“Dave, it’s not what you think.”

“Then tell me what it is,” Dave replied.

She opened her mouth but couldn’t find the right words.

Iman stepped forward.

“I came here because she called me.”

Dave stared at him.

“And why did she need you here when I wasn’t home?”

Silence.

Nobody answered.

Dave slowly looked at his sister.

“How long has this been happening?”

Her eyes filled with tears.

“It wasn’t supposed to happen like this…”

Dave’s face became even more serious.

“That means there is more.”

Iman suddenly looked nervous.

Dave noticed.

“What are you hiding from me?”

Before anyone could answer, a loud notification suddenly came from Iman’s phone. 📱

Iman looked at the screen and immediately became pale.

Dave noticed his reaction.

“Who is texting you?”

Iman quickly turned the phone over.

“Nobody.”

Dave stepped closer.

“Let me see it.”

Iman refused to hand over the phone.

Dave’s sister suddenly whispered,

“Dave… please.”

But Dave’s suspicion had already grown.

He reached toward the phone, but Iman stepped backward.

Then another notification appeared.

Dave’s eyes widened.

“The truth?”

He looked at both of them.

“What truth?”

Nobody spoke.

Then Iman’s phone rang.

The caller’s name appeared clearly on the screen.

Dave saw it.

His entire expression changed.

“Wait…”

He stared at the name in disbelief.

“That’s impossible.”

Iman quickly rejected the call.

But seconds later, the phone rang again.

This time, Dave grabbed it.

He answered the call.

Dave’s face turned pale.

He slowly looked at his sister and Iman.

“Who is this?”

The caller didn’t answer.

Instead, they said something that made Dave completely speechless.

The call suddenly ended.

Dave stood completely still.

He looked at Iman.

Then at his sister.

And finally toward the locked front door.

Someone knocked from outside. 🚪😨

One knock.

Then another.

Dave slowly walked toward the door.

His hand reached for the lock…

And before he could open it, a voice from the other side whispered his name.
